This grace teaches us that our salvation should produce a life of good works.  This grace teaches us to say no to un-Godliness, to being disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all sorts of worldly desires, and to live lives which are self- controlled, upright, and Godly as we await Christ\u2019s return.  Christ gave himself in order to purify for himself a people of his own, anxious to do what is right.
