Eliminate all inappropriate behavior that fails to honor her\/him and which dishonors God.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Don\u2019t speak negatively about others; don\u2019t say anything in someone\u2019s absence you wouldn\u2019t say in their presence.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Allow others to take the lead when appropriate; don\u2019t interrupt when others speak; consider other\u2019s opinions as valid as your own.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Be tactful in dealing with others and respect their sensitivities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Be humble; don\u2019t seek people\u2019s praise, seek God\u2019s favor. Don\u2019t consider yourself to be any more important than anyone else.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Think carefully before you speak; evaluate every situation before speaking or acting; listen much even to fools because they too have their story; wise people can learn even from them.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Surrender every thought to Jesus; develop healthy thought patterns leading to a life of moral and spiritual excellence.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>If someone is in need or in trouble be a first responder; don\u2019t say \u201cLet someone else do it\u201d; you be that \u201csomeone else.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Control your appetites; many things are allowable by God but not everything is beneficial if taken to excess.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Trust in God in all things; He directs the steps that people take; pray frequently for his guidance and provision in all things.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Remember that this life is temporary. The most important thing anyone can do is accept Jesus as Savior, this determines where we spend eternity. Work hard in whatever you do and Christ will reward you now and later.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Remember that whatever one sacrifices in this life for Jesus\u2019 sake, He will reward many times over in this life, and give us eternal life.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Remember that in many cases, a person is just doing the best they can; don\u2019t judge.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Be cheerful; others should see that life in Christ is a happy one.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lesson 46: Godly Precepts to Live By Honor your wife or husband in all of your behavior.
