His most well known compositions are the Ray Boltz standards, \u2018The Anchor Holds\u2019 and \u2018At the Foot of the Cross.\u2019  Beginning in 1979, Lawrence co-pastored a church in Massachusetts for sixteen years.  During this time he became close to some people currently connected to First Congregational Church, the host of \u2018The Way\u2019 Caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Lawrence will only be in Massachusetts one week this year.  Every year an Eastern Mass. coffeehouse schedules him on a Saturday.  It is one of his biggest concerts of the year.  This year he is appearing there on Saturday, July 15.
