Statement of Faith
We believe in God Almighty, the Eternal Spirit, the Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ. He created the world and all people in His image and judges individuals and nations by His righteousness and eternal love declared through prophets and apostles and the events in the redeeming history of the world;
And in Jesus Christ, His Son, our Savior, who came to the world in our common humanity, lived, died and rose again from the dead, and brought forgiveness of sin and fullness of grace to all men, in order the world might be reconciled to Himself;
And in the Holy Spirit that convicts, instructs, renews, empowers, unites and commits us joyfully in the Church of Christ to God’s mission through all ages, tongues and nations.
We believe that the Bible, consisting of sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, was given by the Divine Inspiration and is the Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:19-21; 2 Thessalonians 2:13)
We further believe that the Bible constitutes the only perfect rule and final authority in all matters pertaining to Christian faith and practice. (Acts 17:11; Isaiah 8:20; Matthew 4:4)
We hold it to be the mission of the Church of Christ to Proclaim the gospel to all the world, laboring for the spiritual salvation, the moral progress of all human beings, the promotion of justice, the reign of peace and the realization of human brotherhood. We work and dedicate ourselves, as our fathers did, for the transformation of the world into the kingdom of God.
