Taken from Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, Chapters 1 and 2:

• God has blessed us with every heavenly gift beyond measure in Jesus Christ.

• In our natural state we are all spiritually dead; we want nothing to do with God. We want only to pursue our fleshly passions and appetites.

• We are undeserving of any of God’s grace.

• Because of God’s infinite grace and love He made us alive spiritually in Christ. He even gives us the faith to accept Christ.

• We want to fully experience the extent of God’s grace and love until the new age, when everything we consider good will be magnified.

• In the meantime we need to be patient and tolerant with each other.

• We will suffer trials caused by things such as dysfunctional families, finances, etc.; we need to continually remember all the blessings we have in Christ.
