Lesson 79: Accepting God’s Will
Often times things happen in our lives and we get angry at God and ask Him how He could allow this. Bitterness toward God will only cause damage to our faith. God doesn’t promise to answer our prayers every time in the way we think He should; but He does promise always to be with us through every trial. But we need to bring our prayers always before God, and He will hear us and give us peace in knowing He is in control and all will work for our good and His glory. The faith to believe this and allow it to comfort us comes from Philippians 4 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. We need to remember Jesus’ promise to always be with us. Only then can we endure the trials this life presents us as the devil and life’s circumstances attempt to derail us and damage our faith.
