Celebration and Thank-you Dinner for Dave and Pam Hazzard

We will be holding a celebration and thank-you dinner, to honor Dave Hazzard for his many years of faithful and dedicated service keeping our church and surrounding property so well cared for, now that he has stepped down from these activities at FCC Clinton. Dave was meticulous in keeping the building clean, the lawns mowed, the leaves raked, and the walkways cleared of snow and ice. He was always faithful in setting up Fellowship Hall for our Sunday services, weekly Bible studies, and monthly movie nights, as well as changing the setup every Sunday for the Haitian Church, after our service was over. Dave would always inform the appropriate people if he found anything needing attention or repair. Dave truly epitomized what it means to be a faithful servant of Jesus, always ready to give of himself to do what needed doing, and to help others.

So, please join us on Sunday the 18th, for a spaghetti dinner with all the “fixin’s,” as we thank Dave for everything he did for us. Dave’s wife, Pam, will also be there. Signup sheets will be available, starting Sunday, February 4.
