Sinful pleasure gives us immediate joy and fulfillment and, at the time, is very sweet. But inevitably the consequences of these sins cause pain and suffering which often are more far-reaching than we ever expected. One needs to keep in mind that the consequences are far worse than the pleasures and don’t allow ourselves to go down those paths. Christ promises to help us in time of temptation as we try to live a blameless life with no mix of sin. We want to avoid censorship from people and God coming from moral and spiritual failure. Christ has defeated satan and his cohorts and we need no longer feel overwhelmed by him.
